Show your prices on Google

The short answer

Google’s Business Profile help says you can organize your services into categories and add details such as a description and a price. It also says not to put prices or phone numbers in custom service names. Add the price in the price field and keep the service name plain.1

What Google says

Which profiles can show a price varies. Check the Services section of your own profile to see what it offers.

  • You can organize services into categories and include details such as descriptions and prices.1
  • Custom service names should avoid profanity, gibberish, personal information, prices or phone numbers.1

A simple way to set it up

  1. List one service each for companion care, personal care and dementia care.
  2. Add a plain description of what each includes and your minimum hours.
  3. Add the price in the price field, and keep it in line with your signed rate card.
  4. Add a link to your listing or your embedded rate card.

Keep it consistent

A price on your profile, on your website and on your rate card should match. A rate card carries the date you confirmed it and marks itself out of date after 90 days, so families can tell whether a price is current. Also see how to price home care services.
